WHAT ARE YOUR ORIGINS?
It’s easy to think there are more things dividing us than uniting us. But we actually have much more in common with other nationalities than you’d think. We asked 67 people from all over the world to take a DNA test, and it turns out they have much more in common with other nationalities than they would ever have thought.
Let’s Open Our World is an invitation to travel across boundaries, embrace our differences and open our world. We believe that everybody should be able to travel the world, to meet other people, and experience other cultures and religions. Travel opens our minds: when we experience something different, we begin to see things differently. Share this video, and help us spread the word – and open our world.

COME SHINE AGAIN
My name is
Yaiza, I'm from La Laguna and I run a restaurant in this city. And I have a message for you: you have to
come to the Canary Islands, you must come here. And if you come to Tenerife,
the most important thing is that you meet our people, who are very extroverted
and gentle. Visit the northern coast, which is very beautiful: Garachico, Teno, and in each village that we visit, taste the gastronomy that
is offered. Besides, another wonderful thing that you can't miss on a hot day in Tenerife is
to have a 'caña', a half pint of draft beer, on the coast with some 'camarones', which are typical small shrimps. When I go outside the Canary islands to spend the
summer, what I miss the most is the sea breeze. Whenever I leave, in my
suitcase I never forget to take a bottle of “malvasía” white wine. It has a
fruity flavour that fills your mouth, giving you a sensation of incredible
freshness.
Canary
Islands, come shine again.
